The Revolutionists

September 30

7:30 pm

The Revolutionists, by award-winning playwright Lauren Gunderson, is a brutal comedic quartet about four very real women: playwright Olympe De Gouge, assassin Charlotte Corday, activist Marianne Angelle, and former queen Marie Antoinette, who lived very boldly in France during the French Revolution.

This grand, dark comedy about violence and legacy, terrorism and feminism follows these heroines as they try not to lose their minds and their heads amid the insanity of the Reign of Terror. This new work contains adult language and is called a “sassy, hold-on-to-your-seats theatrical adventure” by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

This performance will take place at the Frank J. Egner Center for the Performing Arts, John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre at the University of Findlay.
