The University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble present their annual spring concert, featuring a variety of colorful and picturesque pieces based on myths and legends of the Greek and Roman empires. The bands will join forces to conclude the concert with a performance of Symphony No. 2 by Robert W. Smith. Entitled “Odyssey,” this highly energetic piece contains a variety of sound effects, and the sounds of sword fights, bow and arrow battles, and more will surround the auditorium. The featured soloist for the concert will be senior marketing major Clay Parlette from Curtice, Ohio. The bands will be under the direction of Jack Taylor, Professor of Music at the University of Findlay.
